Much to my surprise, I can actually get on this without too much pain, unlike places like Myspace, etc.
Thumbs up!
(I'm still working on typing those recipes for you.)

Ironically, I think this resembles MySpace quite a bit, to the point where I wondered whether it's based on the same code, or whether one stole from the other.

However, it's MySpace without a lot of that MyShit.

Thanks for doing this, Wib! I'm still figuring out how to navigate the site. I like that we can upload photos.

OK, I see music running on the Main page, how do I set some music on _my_ page? I was thinking some nice Abney Park maybe, or Jimi Hendrix. Or Dethklok, depending on my mood.

Having individual players in member profiles isn't an option right now, but you can choose an option to open the player on the main page in a separate window, so it will keep playing as you cruise around the other sectioins. look on the line in the middle of the player just above the song titles and it will have an icon that looks like two file folders. Click on that and it will open the player window.

On account of digital rights laws, I can only have songs that are public domain, creative commons licensed stuff, etc.or permission from those that own the rights, without having to pay enormous amounts of $$$ to obtain the broadcast rights. You will have to listen to those faves on your computer while you surf, sorry.

I will be uploading more music and the IBC folks will probably be adding some of their stuff as well, so you can hear things you might not otherwise get to hear that way. If there are types of music you prefer, let me know and I will do my best to find things to interest you.

Well I guess you can't infringe on Lawrence Welk's copyright -- now THAT was music, not that godawful noise the kids are playing nowadays! Derned kids.
